Project Summary:
Using a qualitative methodology including a rapid review, semi-structured interviews, and participatory workshops, this project examines the behavioural dynamics of Human-AI teaming for counterterrorism and CVE risk assessment. It explores practitioner and policymaker perspectives on opportunities, challenges, and ethical risks of AI-supported risk assessment across individual-level radicalisation and protective security contexts, producing actionable insights to guide effective, ethical, and proportionate AI deployment in national security settings.
