The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries (University of Portsmouth) is looking for a Research Associate with Project Administration Skills to work on the CREST-funded project called: ‘Understanding moral injury and belief change in the experiences of police online child sex crime investigators’.
The project will involve research that aims to better understand the causes, consequences and means of mitigating screen-based moral injury, a form of psychological trauma, amongst police online child exploitation investigators.
The successful candidate for this position will be expected to be able to contribute to the research through participation in the Literature Review, transcribing and coding police investigator interviews and other related research activities as guided by the research team, and assisting with the writing up of research findings. The successful candidate must also be able to organise and coordinate relevant events and workshops, prepare materials to be circulated to the parties involved, and play a key role in the day-to-day administration of the project.
The post is for 2.5 days per week. Specific days and times are flexible and will be negotiated with the project lead.
