Jonathan is Professor of Social Work and Deputy Director of CASCADE, the Children's Social Care Research and Development Centre. He is taking a break from the CASCADE role in 2023-24 to lead the set up of the Centre for Adult Social Care Research (CARE) with a £3m grant from Health and Care Research Wales.
