Kristine Endsjø
PhD Student, Lancaster University
Kristine is a PhD Student within CREST’s programme on Actors and Ideologies, Beliefs and Values in Social Contexts, based at Lancaster University.
She holds an MSc in International Defence and Security from Cranfield University, and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic from the University of Oslo, which she has combined with studies in psychology. As part of the BA, she studied Arabic and Islamic theology in Jordan. Her work has primarily been on Islamic radicalisation, values and intercultural relations.
Kristine’s PhD research draws on political psychology and her main interests are ideology, discourse, and mechanisms of social influence. In particular, she is looking into the role of communication and learning in extremist transnational networks.
