Verity Buckley
Research Impact Lead, King's College, London.
Verity is currently the Research Impact Lead providing support for the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences (NMES). This includes providing advice, training and practical support on how to maximise impact through effective research project design, stakeholder and public engagement, and knowledge exchange; how to embed appropriate monitoring and evaluation methods in both research and public engagement; and how to prepare for REF2028.
She joined King's in 2020 as Impact Manager for the cross-Faculty ESRC Centre for Society and Mental Health. Prior to joining King's, Verity worked in the charity sector, leading a range of development projects and programmes for early career researchers and charity sector leaders. Focused on the SDGs, her work was largely designed to facilitate and support collaboration and knowledge exchange across sectors and to strengthen the monitoring and evaluation of research impact. Verity continues to provide impact training and evaluation advice for small charities across London.
