Project Summary:
This project examines how far-right actors exploit emotionally charged events and the effects on public cognitive and emotional processing. Using co-created discourse corpora, linguistic analysis, and preregistered online studies, it produces a replicable typology of misdirection strategies, empirical evidence of cognitive and emotional effects, and practitioner-oriented toolkits to support monitoring, communication, and resilience.
